Two campuses’ data & systems combined in one year.
The Challenge

A university system established a year-long project to consolidate two campuses. The goal was set to transition two physical locations, including their systems, student records, educational data, and operational practices, into one campus within a year. Due to the lack of technical resources to manage a project of this scope, our client needed to augment their team with consultants experienced in higher education consolidation projects.

The Solution

We provided 12 consultants with Ellucian Banner™ technical expertise. The project team included a range of senior-level consultants to lead the project and mid-level developers to execute processes. We also provided additional consultants to support supplemental needs, including business intelligence, analytics, and Kronos™ software administration.

The Result

The two campuses were successfully consolidated within one year. Our skilled consultants helped support a smooth transition to one location. As a result, we won the bid to become full engagement partner for the university’s next integration project.

Oxford’s project team continued to help the university system develop and deploy four interfaces with the following data types: Bio Demo, Current Registration, Curriculum and Grading. The client’s interface project objectives were also achieved, with improved efficiencies by establishing API functions to be compliant with both Banner 8 and Banner 9.
