Process Project Engineer
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
* collect data required to make improvements and modifications
* oversee the operations and/or construction of the plant
* use and develop process simulation software to work out the best production methods
* purchase and install equipment
* use scientific principles related to, but not limited to, magnitude, momentum, heat transfer etc.
* supervise plant operations
* investigate and troubleshoot plant/process problems
* schedule and coordinate work to tight deadlines and within financial budgets
* ensure equipment works to its specification and to appropriate capacities
* assess safety and environmental issues
* liaise with installation/project engineers and specialists
* ensure safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety legislation
* Problem solving skills
* Great communication skills – verbal and written
